You want to groove..I’ma show you how to move.

Because I’m debating on striking up a dance class to teach, thought I would share a lil dancin jams with you all. For those who don’t know my dancing-think club style meets hip hop = Jennie B’s Street-Hop. Don’t get confused, there’s no ballerina in this kid’s body, pure jam sesh leading to fun for all no matter what level of dancer you are. *Although, just a lil rhythm is required for my style, a whole lotta sass and the urge to have a great time with a few laughs mixed in.

You see, most people are scared or nervous when it comes to dancing because it makes them feel uncomfortable to think that people might just be watching them.  They sit on the sidelines because they worry they may “look like an idiot” or adimately repeat: “no, I can’t dance.” Yea yea, whateva..dancin ain’t no spectator sport honey! (yes, I wrote it like that on purpose) Music is meant to be enjoyed and dancing is a joy that everyone should revel in – at least that’s my opinion.

My classes always focus on helping people be more comfortable in their own skin, which is something I will admit I still have to work on every day. It is such an awesome thing when someone who may be “shy” or a bit of an “introvert” totally take hold of the song and bust it out with no worries that anyone is watching or judging. So awesome. If you haven’t felt that before then, child you need to sign up asap and help me find a space quick! Ok, kidding, but just a thought…just a thought.

Now if I could only find a decent space, with mirrors, that’ll rent to me hourly at a decent rate. (well and people that would wanna take my class, minor detail) The search is on..
